HOSPITAL CONCERT

The weekly concert at the Auckland Hospital, arranged by Mrs. Raeburn and Mr. A. Hamblin, was held this week in ward 2. The programme, organised by Madame Annette Stock, comprised a variety of items including vocal, instrumental, dancing and humorous numbers. " Uncle Jim " conducted tho concert in the absence of Mr. Hamblin, who is still a patient in the hospital, and the following took part:—Madame Stock, Mrs. Simpson, Miss Bernice Allen, Miss Myrtle Helmbrccht, Miss Beatrice Balfe, Miss Anita Copeland, Miss Aldwyth Dunn, Mr. Ivan Bushell, Master Frank Green and " "Uncle Jim." Mndamo Dunn was the accompanist.
