HARBOUR TUNNEL

Sir, —Why not a harbour tunnel? A bridge would be«a menace to seaplanes, besides being in the way of shipping. As R. Stewart says in his letter, the spoil could be used to reclaim Shoal and Ngatinga Bays. What a blessing the work would be to 700 or 800 men. Do not let us send our good money out of the country for engineers or material when New Zealand can supply both. Charity begins at home. Dawn.
