In other instances nominations and -acceptances are fixed at 20s. The club is making provision for a programme of seven races for its proposed summer meeting on January 11, 1936, with prize-money at £7OO, exclusive of trophies. Free stabling will bo provided on the racecourse. TEAM FOR ADDINGTON F. J. SMITH'S CANDIDATES Tho Takanini horses, Worthy Light, Nell Volo and King's Warrior, left yesterday to fulfil their engagements at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Ciub l s meeting next week. Owing to wet weather since tho Auckland spring meeting, tho horses have not had tho sound final track work that F. J. Smith had hoped to give them. Tho New Zealand Trotting Cup candidate, Worthy Light, was a trifle robust when he raced last month,, but the two outings at Epsom proved benoficial and even if ho. is not quito attuned for the . Cup ho should race with improvement in later engagements. - • ■ . Unfortunately, .Noll Volo struck herself on the eve of tho Auckland meeting and contracted a " knee," which kept her from racing. Sho has made, a good recovery but has not accomplished anything special in her latest work. Nell Volo has never looked better, and sho was going groat guns at the time of her misfortune. King's Warrior, who is to race on the second and third days, took no harm from his fall at the Auckland meeting. He is a fine pacer in his class and, being in excellent racing condition, should have a good opportunity to show his real worth at Addington. War Paint was to have gone South also, hut it was eventually decirled to keep her at homo in view of suitablo races nt tho Auckland Summer Meeting. Tho trainer, F. .T. Smith, leaves for Christehurch to-night. WAIKATO RACING CLUB ACCEPTANCES DUE TO-DAY Acceptances for all first day's events at the Waikato Racing Club's Spring Meeting, to be held at To Rapa on November 16 and 18, closo to-day at 5 p.m. with Messrs. Blomfiold and Co., Auckland, and at 9 p.m. with the secretary, Mr. E. H. O'Meara, Hamilton. PRODICE'S LATEST FOAL ■ ■■ CHESTNUT COLT BY HEROIC Messrs. D. R. Walker and, M. H. Tims' mare Prodice has foaled a chestnut colt to tho successful sire Heroic, who headed the list of winning sires in Australia last season, when his progeny won over £26,000 in stakes. Prodice was a good performer herself and belongs to a family that lias achieved considerable success in recent years, so that there will bo much interest in her latest foal when the time comes for him to race. Prodice is a half-sister by Catmint to Amnion Ha, and she is the dam of the consistent two-year-old Gallio, whose form at the spring meetings has been very encouraging,
