YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS MINING MARKET IMPROVES (Received November 7, 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 7 On tho Sydney Stock Exchange today there was good support for Bank of Now South Wales and Commercial Bank of Sydney, but the recent upward trend in leading industrial shares was checked. Tho mining section displayed an improved tone. This morning's sales included: —Commonwealth 4 per cent bonds: 1938, £lO2 17s Gd; 1941, £lO3 18s 9d; 1917, £103; 1957, £lO4 ss; .1959, £lO3.
