PROFIT GREATLY INCREASED YEAR'S EARNINGS £39.360 A net profit of £39,360 was oarned by the Kauri Timber Company, Limited, Melbourne, for the year ended August 31. , This represents 5i per cent on capital and is an advance of £IB,OOO on the previous year's earnings and £28,540 on those for 1933. As announced in the Herald on November 2, the company is paying a dividend of 5 per cent, against 3 per cent in the previous year.
