ROWING

trial fours contest Four clubs will commence their programmes for the 1935-36 season with races fnr trial fours to-morrow afternoon. The Waitemata Boating Club will use the Tamaki Drive course to row off its contest for the commodore's trophies. Presented by Mr. C. J. Ellerbcck. At St. Mary s Bay the West Fnd Rowing Club will hold races for the Peacock Shield and club certificates Courts adjacent to the waterfront road will also be used bv the St. George's Rowing Club and the Auckland Rowing Club, which is to hold races for the Rowsell Cup and the Henderson Cup respectively.
