OTAHUHU GOLF CLUB
LADY MEMBER HONOURED A presentation ovcning in recognition of the services rendered by Miss Lulu Hunter in the social activities of tho Otahuhu Golf Club was arranged by tho combined committees of tho club. The function was held at tho hoino of Mrs. A. K. Belcher, of Mangero. During tho evening Miss Hmitor was piesented with a gift of brassware. Several members of tho committees expressed tho club's appreciation of tho services rendered by Miss Hunter, who, it was stated, had materially contributed to the success of tho social activities during the last few seasons. Bridge was played and musical items were rendered by Mrs. W. Quin. The winning card piayers were Miss Muvr and Messrs. S. \V. House and W. Quin. Among tho ladies present were:— Mesdames Belcher, House, Cox, Davies, McNeely, Posseniskie, Ecclcs, Butler, lOustace and McCormick, and the Misses Wills, Clark, Wyllie, Muir, Thompson and K. Waters.
