TO-DAiY'S PUBLICATION THE ROYAL WEDDING ELECTION CANDIDATES The usual high standard of the main pictorial section of The Weekly News is fully maintained in this week's issue, which is on sale to-day. The frontispiece is devoted to pictures relating to the wedding in London to-day of His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester to Lady Alice Montagu-Douglas-Scott. The latest portraits of the Duke and Lady Alice are included. Spring scenes from the city of Christchurch make a most attractive doublepage. Flowering trees and shrubs, particularly cherry and almond trees, have been exceptionally fine this season. A page is devoted to portraits of the leaders of the main political parties in the Dominion and of candidates seeking Parliamentary honours in various electorates throughout New Zealand. Further portraits of candidates will be published in succeeding issues of The Weekly News prior to the general election.
