NORTHCOTE INTERESTS
The Northcote Borough Council last night granted permission to screen pictures at the local tlieatre on Christmas Day, the programme to be submitted for prior approval. Consideration of the request of the Devonport Borough Council to receive a deputation to discuss data regarding future water supplies for the. _ North Shore boroughs was deferred until after tho general election. A donation of one guinea was made to tho New Zealand Society for tho Protection of Women and Children,
