CHRISTMAS MAIL
DESPATCH TO BRITAIN A Christmas despatch of newspapers, packets and parcels, including the Christmas Number of The Weekly Nrws, to Great Britain, Ireland and Europe, will close at the chief post offico on Friday. The mail will be forwarded to London by the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa, and it is due at London on December 11. It will be another opportunity to send ChkistmaS Numbers of The Weekly News to friends and relatives abroad at the postal rate to Great Britain of Id a copy. A Christmas despatch of ordinal"? mail for Great Britain, Ireland and Europe, via Vancouver, will leave Auckland next Tuesday by the Royal Mail liner Aorangi, the mail being due at London on December 12. The postage rate to Great Britain for Christmas Numbers sent by the Aorangi's mail is sd.
