OFFICIALS APPOINTED PRINCIPAL AND DEAN • The directors of the Now Zealand Bible Training Institute, at a meeting over which Mr. R. A. Laidlaw presided, appointed Mr. William J. Mains honorary principal of tho institute. The office has been vacant since the death of the Rev. Joseph W. Kemp two years a S°" -, Mr. Mains is one of New Zealand's best-known evangelists, having conducted missions in every part of the Dominion under the auspices of churches of all .denominations, although the larger part of his work has been done in tho Presbyterian Church, of which ho is a member. , Mr. H. Yolland, who has been Bible lecturer at tho institute for the past .five years, was appointed to the position of dean. It was reported that 138 of the graduates of the institute had become foreign missionaries and were working in 22 different countries under 24 missionary societies, both denominational and inter-denominational. Forty-two other graduates were engaged in the ministry, home mission work or other whole-time Christian service in New Zealand. Thirty-two students would graduate at tho end of tho present session. A full enrolment for the 1936 session was assured.
