[by telegraph —own correspondent! MATAMATA. Tuesday 1 There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Mntamsta Polo Club. Mr. A. S. Thirl wall presided, The annual report stated that the season had been n satisfactory one. The statement of accounts showed a loss of £39,13s 5d on tho year's working. , The following officers were elected:— Patron. Mr. G. Johnston; president, Mr. A S Thirlwall: vice-presidents. Messrs. J. Price, 8. Banks and J. Landells: secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. G. Payze; hon. surgeons. Dr. J. T. Laurenson and Dr. D. K Abernethy; club captain, Mr. Earl Johnston; selector, Mr. D. McCarthy; delegates. Messrs. A. S. Thirlwall and B. Johnston: committee, Messrs. E. Johnston. R. C. Morgan, J. Landells. B. Roberts, J. Price, 8. Banks and D. McCarthy.
