WOMAN FOUND DEAD
THE CORONER'S VERDICT Tho adjourned inquest into the death of Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Brady, aged 60, of Church Street, Onehunga, whoso body was found in the Waikaraka Cemetery by two boys on Sunday, October 6, was continued at Onehunga yesterday by the district coroner, Mr. D. A. Sutherland. The evidence of deceased's husband showed that she had loft her home on October 1 and was not seen alive again. Dr. W. Howard Thomas said that in a post-mortem examination of tho body ho failed to find any marks of violence, but the condition of the heart was such that it might have caused death. The Government analyst, Mr. Kenneth M. Griflin, said that in examining the contents of the stomach he found 1.7 grains of a poison which was sufficient to cause death. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide by poisoning while deceased was in a depressed state of mind.
