ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY
CRIPPLED CHILDREN FUND A large gathoring of members and their friends attended a social afternoon held by the St. Andrew's Society's Ladies' Auxiliary yesterday, tho proceeds of which are to bo donated to the Crippled Children Fund. The president, Mrs. J. K. Black, presided, and extended a welcome to several overseas visitors. An enjoyable musical programme included songs by Mrs. A. Rattray, and Mrs. H. Armstrong Keven; recitations by Mrs. Hill; violin solos by Miss Isabel Langlands (Australia) ; vocal duets by Mrs. Rattray and Mr. W. Gemmell, and Mrs. J. S. Black and Mrs. T. Massicks; a Scottish recitation by Miss Nellie Bramley, and a Highland dance by Miss G. McNaughton. The accompanists were Miss Lillian Braithwaite. Miss Joy Keven and Miss Isabel McKinnon. Some reminiscences of a Scottish family in Texas, the difficulties encountered and their amusing experiences was given by Mrs. J. Victor Macky.
