CONCERT AT HOSPITAL

The returned soldier patients in the Auckland Hospital annexe were entertained at a very enjoyable concert last week given by the Garnzona Orchestra under the direction of Madam Dunn. A very fine programme was rendered, the music consisting of a number of old selections as well as modern popular melodies. Songs were given by Miss Aldwyth Dunn, violin solos by Mr. A. Joliansen, cornet solos by Mr. H. Dunn, items by Mr. D. Robertson, songs by Mr. Ledger, a patient,, and humorous items by Mr. S. Holthouse and Uncle Jim. Madam Dunn was the accompanist. A vote of thanks was passed to the artists.
