[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Tuesday The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club held a rnce on Saturdny from Ohakune. an airl:ne distance of 112 miles Following were the results-—W. G. Pountney's entry. 1113 yds a min, 1; C Crabb's entry, 1111yd#, 2: L Mond's entry, 1109 yds. 3; Thomas and Son's entry, 1100.7 yds. 4. Next week'a race will be flown from Hnntrrvillo. WHANGAREI CLUB , [from our own WHANGAREI. Tuesday The Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club held its first race of tho Reason during the week-end, the race being from Auckland Although the weather wad not good, tho birds gave a good account of themselves, the following being the results:—W. Griffiths' entry, 1; D. Wileon'a entry, 2; T. Sketchley's entry, 8.
