LINDRUM AND McCONACHY tjomo very interesting play was witnessed in the professional billiards match between Walter Lindrum champion of tho world, and Clark McConachy the well-known New Zealander. at the Unity Hall yesterday. Ao the match progresses the attendances have increased, and the largest crowd of tho season was present laat evening Lindrum was again in good form, his best breaks in the afternoon being 202. 235, 158 and 112 unfinished, while in the evening he compiled a run of 493. MrConachy's best efforts in the afternoon wero 129 and 100. and at night he made breukn of 235, 2313 and 200 unfinished. In the latter break McConachy scored l!)H with the balls in baulk, taking them threo times along tho bottom cushion. The scores at tho conclusion of play last evening were:—Lindrum M) 04; McConachy, 7862.' There will be further sessions this afternoon and evening, and the match will conclude on Friday night.
