NORTHCOTE BOROUGH

At a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council last night, tho town clerk stated that of tho total current rates struck, £10,545, the sum of £3583, or 33.97 per cent, had been received. Tho sum received at this time last year was £4416. The Fire Brigade reported that the fireplugs were insufficiently marked for speedy location nt night.
