FLIGHT TO DUNEDIN
RECORD TIME CLAIMED AUCKLAND AERO CLUB PILOT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Tuesday A flight from Auckland to Dunedin, which occupied six hours 20 minutes, is believed to bo a record for the route. The aeroplane which made the flight is a Puss Moth belonging to the Auckland Aero Club, and bears the distinguishing marks ZK-ACB. Mr. W. J Sexton was pilot of the machine, and his passenger was the Rev. J. H. Cable. A brief landing was made at Blenheim to refuel. Excellent flying conditions prevailed throughout the trip.
AIR TRAVEL POPULAR HARRIER TEAM'S JOURNEY [by telegraph OWN correspondent] GISBORNE. Tuesday A record number ot passengers was carried by East Coast Airways, Limited, last week in spite of bad weather conditions. Eighty-three persons were transported between Gisborne and Napier, tho passenger list being swelled by tho Poverty Bay Power Board delegation travelling to tho conference in Wellington and bj- a team of Hastings harriers, who used this moans of transport for visiting Gisborne.
