AIRMEN AFTER CRASH MEAL OFF A CROCODILE ADELAIDE. Sept. 10 Messrs. Mather, pilot, and Maloney, passenger, of the Transcontinental Airways machine, which was forced down in the desert some miles from Alice Springs on a flight from Darwin to Adelaide, state that while they were guarding their Monospar machine, which was wrecked and which carried a cargo of gold, they killed a young crocodile consigned to Adelaide and ate portion of it. Both men and Mr. Renfrey, who was also a passenger, but who set out to bring .assistance and narrowly escaped death, have now recovered from their ordeal.
