HOSPITAL AT HANMER

The Minister of Health, Sir Alexander Young, interviewed in Wellington regarding the proposals of tho Health Department to build a new hospital for male patients at Hanmer, said it was intended to demolish the existing rotunda buildings and make a start with rebuilding on the present site. The whole scheme would cost £40,000, nf which Cabinet approval had been obtained for tho expenditure of £12,000 this year.
