NEW DRUIDS LODGE

FORMATION AT FRANKTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday A new branch of tho Order ol Druids has been formed at Frankton over 200 attending the function. Following a procession from the post office, Hamilton, to the meeting hail at Frankton, headed by a band, a civic welcome was accorded the visiting Druids by the deputy-mayor, Mr. H. D. Caro. Representatives were present from North Auckland, Whakatane and all lodges in the district, and grand lodge officers "from Auckland and Wellington.

The new ledge wns thoil formed with 20 new memhers. and the following officers were installed: —Arch Druid, .Mr. W. Lee Martin; secretary, Mr. Kirk; J.P.A.D., Mr. Kenny; vieoareh, Mr. V. S. Harris; treasurer, Mr. Craig; inside guardian, Mr. C. Wright; outside guardian, Mr. Mayall; archbards, Mr. F. Waters, jun., Miss Capper; vice-arch bards, Mr. F. Waters, sen., Mr. R. Gower; minute secretary. Mr. Craig; organist, Mr. Crawford; master of ceremonies, Mr. W. Jarman; trustees, Messrs. Redwood, Waters, Jarman; auditor, Mr. J. K. Irwin.
