REPRESENTATIVE MATCH GAME AGAINST HAWKE'S BAY VISITORS TO ARRIV TO-DAY Advice that the Hawke's Bay representative team to play Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday would arrive in Auckland to-day was received at last evening's meeting of the management committee of the Auckland ' Rugby Union. Mr. A. A. Baker presided. Messrs. A. Tilly, C. F. Paull and W. A. Laurie were appointed officials to the team, which will stay at tho Royal Hotel. A welcome was extended by the chairman to tho new member of the committee. Mr. S Cleul. The North Shore Club notified its approval of the proposal to play some senior grade matches on outside grounds. It was decided, on the recommendation of the Poverty Bay Union, to add Dr. D L. Muir's name to tho union's list of honorary surgeons. The reinstatement of K. Massey to the North Shore second grade team was recommended to the New Zealand Union. The Southland Union forwarded its representative team's programme of mutches and itinerary. Southland will play Aucklund at Eden Park on Saturday week. ROLLER MILLS SHIELD PRIMARY SCHOOLS' TOURNEY Matches in the second round of the Roller Mills Shield tournament were played yesterday at Eden Park under the control of the Auckland Primary Schools' Rugby Union.Auckland East, which on Tuesday secured an easy win over Thames by 21 points to 3, again showed pleasing combination and full appreciation of their superior weight in beating Waipa. Auckland Central scored its second win in the tourney by beating Matamata, and Auckland North narrowly defeated Roforua. Thames scored its first victory by beating Lower Waikato fairly comfortably The two teams which drew byes. Hamilton and South Auckland, played a drawn game, the score being six points all. Auckland Central, Auckland North and Auckland East hove won their two games. Auckland Central has won its section and will play Auckland North, winner of the C section, to-morrow. The winner of this match goes into the final to play the winner of the A. section, which, judging on the form revealed in matches to date, should be Auckland East. The defeat of the country teams may bo attributed to lack of weight and opportunities of playing together. The final will bo played at Eden Park on Saturday at 12.30 o'clock.
