BLOMFIELD TO MEET SINGH Well-known for his famous "Indian deadlock" hold, the appearance in Auckland next Monday of .Tiiget Singh, when he will meet "Lofty" Bloinfleld, should again prove a big draw for local wrestling enthusiasts. The packed house that witnessed the contest between Blomfield and McCready last Monday indicated that enthusiasts appreciate the efforts of the Auckland Association to provide bouts between wellmatched wrestlers. The forthcoming contest should not prove an exception. Blorn field needs no introduction to Auckland audiences, and his display last Monday was probably his l est to date. He can be relied upon to ai'ouso plenty of enthusiasm. Singh is u protego of the great Indian wrestler Gutna. iin:i in hie appearances in other centres has created very favourable impressions.
