FOOTBALLER'S INJURY
FRAbTURE OF THE SKULL [by telegraph—OWK correspondent! WHAKATANE, Monday It hns been found that Mr. James Rochford, the Rangitaiki footballer who was injured through colliding with a Tauranga player on Saturday, and was admitted to the Tauranga Hospital, is suffering from a fractured skull. Ho underwent an operation yesterday and is reported to be progressing satisfactorily. Mr. Rochford, whose age is 23, is a farm hand employed by Mr. T. Craddock, Thornton. His parenta live at Kumara, Westland.
