TIMARU'S RUNAWAY VICTORY [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] TIMARU. Monday In the annual match to-day Timaru Boys' High School scored a runaway victory over Southland, Boys' High by 44 points to 3. The Timaru team was much heavier all round and was too fast for the visitors, who battled gttinely. Southland Was superior tri the set scrums, but the fast Timaru forwards consistently 'smothered the visiting five-eighthp, wrho had a gruelling time. I Timaru scored 12 tries, the majority 8.8 j the result of fine back movements, but only four tries were converted.
