BRIDGE PARTY
The Victoria League girls' committee held an enjoyable Hag bridge party in the league rooms on Friday afternoon to collect books and magazines for the children's ward of the Auckland Hospital. There was a wonderful response, over 250 books being handed in. Mrs. L. S. Rickerby, the convener of the hospital circle, received the guests. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Erne Adams and the Misses C. Stubbs, Zoe Guthrie, M. Hutchison, Molly Wright, Jo Thomson and Helen Eraser.
