SENIOR GRADE CONTESTS FALCON CUP COMPETITION NORTH SHORE AND PONSONBY The first- series of matches in the Auckland Football Association's knockout competition for the Falcon Cup will be decided to-morrow. Considerable interest will centre in the games, which are expected to provide fast and attractive Soccer. The principal match at Blandford Park will be between North Shore and Ponsonby. North Shore was responsible for the only defeat suffered by Ponsonby to date in the championship competition, and it will bo interesting to 600 if it can again lower the championship leaders' colours. Eastern Suburbs and Mount Albert Old Boys should have a hard-fought game in the curtain-raiser pt Blandford Park. The teams are fairly evenly matched and there should be a small margin between them at the finish. Thistle will meet Metro-College at Western Springs, while Comrades and Y.M.C.A. will play at Victoria Park. Lower grade competitions will bo continued. Following are the teams:— NORTH SHORE Senior Grade.—Cowie, Gerrard, Ekman, Colebourne, Archer, Walters. Blnckie, Stevenson, McCluskcy, Ekman, Hitchenß. Second Grade.—Murray, Beaßley, Moorcraft, James, Chubb. Sanders, Hankins, Moore, McGregor, Smith, Bentley. Y.M.C.A. Senior Grade.—Smith, Ross, Dobson. Bridges, Chapman, Sims, Murane, McFarlane, Humphreys, Churchill, Hill. EASTERN SUBURBS Senior Grade.—Wynne, R. Stone, H. Stone, Diamond, McDonald, Gay, Cuinmings, A. Welch, R. Welch, Flashman, Gilbert, Needliam, East, Darwin.
