THE LEAGUE CODE

SENIOB COMPETITION FINAL FOR CHAMPIONSHIP RICHMOND AND MOUNT ALBERT The final of the Auckland Rugby League's senior championship between Richmond and Mount Albert will be played at Carlaw Park to-morrow. Both teams have revealed & consistently high standard of football during the soason and their meeting to-morrow should attract a large crowd. Richmond is one of the most brilliant combinations seen in Auckland for some years, while Mount Albert, since its entry into the senior competition this season, has provided some very solid displays. Mount Albert has on many occasions this season proved a difficult team to defeat. Much depends upon the ground conditions for to-morrow's game. On a dry ground Richmond should have a better'chance, but it would occasion little surprise to see Mount Albert the winning team should heavy ground conditions prevail. A special round of senior matches will also be played. As a curtain-raiser to the championship final, Devonport -will play Mariat. and the game should produce bright football. On No. 2 ground, .Otahuhu, which won the senior B competition, will play Ponsonby, while City will meet Newton in the curlain-raiscr.
