CALL TO MINISTER
THAMES BAPTIST CHURCH A unanimous call to the Thames Baptist Church,.lias been received by the Rev. R. Stowards, who has beer. #t the Mount Eden Baptist Church for over six years. Mr. Stowards stated yesterday that he would give the matter his earnest consideration. Mr. Stowards was educated for the ministry in Melbourne and, after being in charge of various Australian pastorates, came to the Dominion at the call of the Berhampore Church, WeiV ington. From there he succeeded til® Rev. E. Goring as pastor of the Mount Eden Church. The church, which ;i» , nearing its jubilee, has made consider able progress during Mr. Btoward 1 * ministry.
