THIRTY-THREE LIVES LOST MANY INJURED IN INDIA CALCUTTA. July 25 In India's biggest colliery disaster, at Giridih, 33 persons were killed and 76 injured. The tragedy was caused by the ignition of liquid oxygon and explosives. Ten women were among those who were killed.
