NEW GOLF COURSE
PROPOSAL AT TAURANGA [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Friday A petition boaring 142 signatures has been presented to the Borough Council asking that the borough reserve between Cliff Road and tho railway line on an elevated position northward of Monmouth Redoubt bo made available for and laid ,out as a golf course. Tho petitioners consider that such a course would add in a material degree to the attractions of the town. The council has referred the petition to its endowments committee.
