DANCE AND PRIZE-GIVING

MODEL YACHT CLUB P A highly-successful function took place in tho Foresters Hall, Onehunga, on Wednesday evening, when the Manukau Model Yacht Club hold its annual dance and prize-giving. Tho hall presented a gay sceno with its colourful decorations of streamers and tings, and with tho aid of tho Dixieland Band, the dancing was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The prizes were presented by tho president, Mr. C. Bartlott. Mr. J. Park, Mayor of Onehunga, and patron of tho club, spoke on the club's progress during tho past, and also of the advance it hoped to make in the future. Mr. Wilkinson, commodoro of tho Tamaki Yacht Club, congratulated the club on its very successful year. Among thoso present were:—Mrs. J. Park, Mayoress, who woro midnight blue French lace; Mrs. C.
