The needs of the travelling public «re met in the issue by the Railways Department of a 48-page guide to th« reservation of scats and sleeping-berths on the principal express and passenger trains throughout the Dominion. The book contains clearly printed plans of the carriage accommodation, each of which is accompanied by full details of time-tables and fares between principal stations, together with a list of refreshment stations. The book is strongly bound and the department is sending copies to the Government Tourist Bureaux, travel agencies, and the principal hotel*.
