BACK-BLOCKS SETTLERS r i he Victoria League books committee held a bridge afternoon to help on the work of sending books and magazines to back-blocks settlers and schools with the resulting proceeds. Miss Mowbray, president, and Miss Fenton, chairman of the committee, received the guests, and the following members of the books committee acted as hostesses: —I)r. G. de Courcy, Mrs. A. B.
