MOUNT EDEN AFFAIRS

Advice was received from the Post and Telegraph Department at last night's meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council that it was proposed to instal siot telephones outside the Mount Eden Post Office and at the corner of Mount Eden and Fairview Roads. Building permits issued during May totalled 22, representing an expenditure of £4,808. These included permits for the erection of three houses, of a total value of £3,966.
