[by telegraph—OWN correspondent] GISBORXE, Tuesday In reply to representations forwarded from the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce with reference to the railway negotiations, the acting-Prime Minister, Sir Alfred Hansom, has telegraphed the secretary, Mr. \V. Hamilton-Irvine, <.s follows:—" I can assure you that the Government is fully aware of the whole "f the circumstances and that the matter is being considered in London by the Prime Minister, Mr. Forbes, and Mr. Coates."
