HEN PHEASANTS SHOT

CONCEALED IN MOTOR-CAR MAN FINED £lO AND COSTS A Papatoetoo resident, William Gall, who was prosecuted by the Auckland Acclimatisation Society, admitted in the Magistrate's Court at Otahuhu yesterday a charge of having shot and taken" two hen pheasants at Warkuxrtli on May 3. The society's chief ranger, Mr. James Dobson, said that defendant was in a motor-car, which was searched, and two pheasants found concealed in a pair of iiumboots.
