SENTENCE OF DEATH
CONDEMNED MAN'S FATE EXECUTION TO-MORROW [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Tuesday Tho execution of Charles William Price, aged 47, for the murder of Evelyn Mary Madden in the Waipawa district laat February, will take place at Mount Crawford prison, Wellington, at 8 a.m. on Thursday. A warrant reached the sheriff, Mr. Samson, yesterday, and in the afternoon he went' to the prison and informed Price that the Executive Council had decided not to interfere with the sentence. Price to.ok the decision calmly and made no comment.
