LINER IN COLLISION
SLIGHT DAMAGE CAUSED British Wireless RUGBY, June 17 The 42,500-ton Canadian Pacific liner Empress of Britain collided during a fog last night in the Gulf of St. Lawrence with the Newcastle collier Kafirstan. The liner's bows were slightly damaged, but her future programme will not be altered. She is expected at Southampton on Friday and will leave on the following day on the return trip across the Atlantic.
