WOMEN PARACHUTISTS JUMPS FROM AEROPLANE (Received June 13. 5.25 p.m.) LONDON, June 18 The Manchester Guardian states that six women made successful descents with parachutes from an aeroplane. Three jumped from an altitude of 6700 metres anrl the other three from 7000 metres, without oxygen. The feat is claimed as a world's record. All six women previously had made parachute jumps 130 times.
