MISSING FOR TWO DAYS
RESIDENT OF MQTU CLOSE SEARCH PROCEEDING [by telegraph—own cobbespondent] GISBORTvE, Tuesday Mr. William H. Cooper, a wellknown resident of Motu, where he ha 3 lived for many years, has been missing since Sunday. He visited friends on Saturday night and was last seen in the township again about 10 a.m. on Sunday. Constable McClinchy, of Matawai, with a paTty of residents, commenced a thorough search of the district, but early this afternoon there war. still no trace of Mr. Cooper. He is a single middle-aged man. LOST PROSPECTOR FOUND ADVENTURE NEAR WAIHI [by telegraph OWN correspondent] WAIHI, Tuesday Mr. E. P. Anderson, farmer, of Bulltown, near "Waihi, who left on a prospecting expedition to Walmsley's Bush on Sunday, and did not return at night as expected, was discovered alive, but exhausted, by two borough workmen near the Waihi Reservoir, at the head of Walmsley's Creek. He was taken to his home when he recovered from the effects of his exposure.
