CYCLISTS' LEGS BROKEN
SKID ACROSS ROADWAY BULLER GORGE ACCIDENT [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WESTPORT, Sunday Two young men, both residents of Picton, while travelling through 1 Buller Gorge to Westport on a motorcycle, met with a mishap to-daj. 10 machine caught on a projection in to bank and skidded across the road, to strike a big stone. The victims nere Mr. Jack Trembath. the rider of the motor-cycle, and Mr. Norman Stee e. the pillion-rider. Both suffered fracture of their left legs and they were removed to the Buller Hospital. inej were found on the road 45 minutes a the accident occurred.
