CAZNA CUP COMPETITION NEW ZEALANDER SUCCESSFUL [FROM OT7It OWN correspondent"! By Air Mail LONDON, May 18 On a recent Sunday tho Chertsey Golf Club held its annual competition for the Cazna Challenge Cup. This competition is open to any member of the club or to any Australian or New Zealander having a certified handicap between scratch and 18, inclusive. It was a beautiful day, and those taking part, including a number of New Zealanders, had a most enjoyable time. It was a bogey match twice round a course of 18 holes, and the honours fell to a New Zealander in the person of W. N. Clapham, who is a member of West Hill Golf Club, with a handicap of one. Clapham was 3 down after the first 18 holes, but finished the course in 71, and was 3 up in the second 18. R. A. Johnson, or the Chertsey Club, with a handicap of 13, was second. He was one down over the 36 holes. R. B. Rees, a well-known Australian cricketer, was fourth. Another competitor was S. Hill, brother of Clem. Hill.
