MANUKAU LADIES' CLUB Members of the Mnnukau Ladies' Golf Club played the monthly L.G.U. medal round on Saturday. The winner in the senior grade was Mrs. Barnard, with a card of 90, 18—72. The next beet' cards were:— Mrs. Brooks, 94, 15—79; Mrs. Fleming, 101, 21—60; Mrs. Wardoll. 107, 24—83. On a count- back Miss Graham won the C grade medal with a score of 111, 36—75. Other good cards returned were:—Mrs. George, 111, 3G—75; Mrs. Dreadon, 115, 36—79.

PAPAKURA CLUB A bogey match for Mr. C. N. Spencer's trophy was played by members of th-e Papakura Golf Club on Saturday. Results were as follows:—K. Mathirson, 2 down; T. Robbing, 3 down; J. Taylor, 4 down. PAPAKURA LADIES' CLUB The L.G.U. rrymthly medal round was played by members of the Papakura Ladies' Golf Club on Saturday. The senior medal played over 18 holes waa won by Mrs. Charles, with a card of 99, 21—78. The next beat score was Miss White, 98, 17—81. The boat scores returned in the C grade competition, played over 12 holes, were:— Miss Reilly, 75; Miss M. Gunthorpe. 84.

CLEVEDON CLUB A match between teams representing the captain and vice-captain of the Clevedon Golf Club was played on Saturday. The captain's team won by 4 matches to 2.

MANGATAWHIRI CLUB [from oub own correspondent! POKENO, Sunday A bogey match was played by members of the Mangatawhiri Golf Club yesterday. Tho best scores were:—Men: R. Aldred. 4 down; G. Austin, 4 down. Ladies: Miss V. Aldrcd, 1 down: Mrs. G. Pope. 5 down.. An eclectic handicap played over the previous three Saturdays resulted in a win for H. Hint.on, 87, 30—57. in the men's division. The runner-up was F. Pope. 85, 2G—59. In tho ladies' division the winner was Mrs. P. Pope, 94. 3fi—sß. Miss F. Twining, 95, 34—Gl, returned the next best score.
