FLYING PAGEANT
FIXTURE AT DANNEVIRKE RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS [by telegraph—press association] DANNEVIRKE, Monday An air pageant was held at the Dannevirke aerodrome yesterday in fine weather and attracted a large crowd of spectators. Pilots were present from various clubs in the North Island. The events resulted:— Landing Competition.—S. Buchanan (Wairarapa - Ruahine), 1; Sniillie (Manawatu), 2; J. B. A. Reid (Wai-rarapa-ltuhahine), 3. Bombing.—Reid, 1; Brewer (Hawke's Bay), 2; Buchanan, 3. Message Dropping.—Brown (Hawke's Bay) and Buchanan, equal, 1. Aerobatics. —Buchanan, 1; McGaffin (Manawatu), 2. Novelty Race. —Flying-Officer Buckeridge (Wairarapa-Ruahine) and McGaffin, equal, 1.
