FUND FOR CRIPPLES
THE MAYOR'S APPEAL FURTHER DONATIONS OVER £13,600 CONTRIBUTED A total of over £13,t308 has so far been subscribed as a result of the appeal by the Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, to the public for the fund for the care and education of crippled children. One of the principal objects of the appeal is to enable an endowment fund to be established so that advantage may be taken of the offer of Mr. and Mrs. W. It. Wilson to give their home and grounds at Takapuna for the use of crippled children. Donations to a total of £12,754 12s Id have already been acknowledged in the Herald. The following are further donations made to the fund up to yesterday amounting to £5 or more: —
