CAR STRIKES POLE

DRIVER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL PASSENGERS ESCAPE INJURY [BT TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Wednesday An accident occurred, at Miller's Corner, Hillcrest, this evening, when a motor-car driven by Mr. Rex Donnelly, a commercial traveller employed by the National Tobacco Company, Limited, of Napier, was wrecked. Mr. Donnelly was driving from Hamilton to Cambridge, and on turning a corner near the Hamilton boundary the car became out of control and struck a telegraph pole. Sir. Donnelly was cut abou's the head by flying glass and was admitted to the aikato Hospital. His injuries are not serious. There were two passengers in the ear, but neither waa injured.
