GOOD ACCEPTANCE LIST H. O. NOLAN HANDICAP FIELD REVIEW OF THE PROSPECfS The Auckland Racing Club's Autumn Meeting will bo concluded at Ellerslie to-day. Following are details of the fields with a review of the prospects in each race by "Archer": — 12.2 —NELSON HANDICAP, Of £275; 1 milo ft. lb. Bt. lb. King Roy ~94 Keith Lu ..75 Werohia ... 8 12 Gay Egypt ..74 On Parade . 810 Lady Diana . 7 2 Crooning ... 8 10 United .... 7 2 Nun Nicer . . 8 10 Roman Mascot 7 0 Sunny Downs 8 7 Royal Appellant 7 0 Adalene .... 8 7 Lap Up ... 7 0 Royal Secret . 8 6 Nahlin ..... 7 0 Lord Willonyx 8 5 Jewelled Girdle 7 0 Grand Talk . 8 1 Waikatoa ..70 Sirona .... 7 13 Green Patch .7 0 Engi ..... 7 11 Miss Lulu ... 7 0 Rona Bay . . 7 C Mustang .... 7 0 There are many horses with chances in tins large field and luck may bo an important factor. Form on the first day indicates that King Rey, Royal Secret and Gay Egypt will go well. An easing of the going will not bo against King Roy and Gay Egypt and the same applies to Miss Lulu, <vho likes the ground soft. Miss Lulu ran a good fourth on Saturday. Engi was unlucky on the first day and if ho has not been affected by his hard raco will take a lot of beating. Others who may have to be seriously considered are Werohia, On Parade, Crooning, Nun Nicer, Sunny Downs, Sirona, Adalene, Rona Bay, Keith Lu and Lap Up. Tho favourites may be ENGI. KING REY, MISS LULU. 12.47—VICTORIA HANDICAP, Of £300; two-year-olds; 6 fur. at. lb. at. lb. Haut Monde . 9 8 Persian Lady . 7 2 Fleetwind ..93 King Flight . 7 2 Galileo .... 9 I Happy Velocipede ... 8 13 Landing ..71 II Duco ... 8 8 Light Comedy 7 0 Triune .... 7 11 Chalice .... 7 0 Flood Tide . 7 4 Callisto .... 7 0 Johnny Walls 7 2 Misurina ... 7 0 Brackets; Velocipede and Triune; II Duce and Happy Landing. The topweight, Haut Monde, should go well in this class and the same applies to Galilee. II Duco and Happy Landing, who finished soundly on Saturday, comprise a good bracket and the combination is bound to have a solid following. Velocipede and Triune should again make forward showings and Fleetwind is another with a chance. Tho likeliest of tho others may be Flood Tide, who did not begin well on Saturday, Johnnie Walls and Light Comedy. Popular fancies may be HAUT MONDE, GALILEE. IL DUCE-HAPPY LANDING BRACKET.

I.32—ST. HEUERS HURDLE RACE, Of £275; 11 miles

st. lb. at. lb. Record Flight 10 7 London .... 9 2 Whistling Volition .... 9 0 Rufus ... 9 12 Kilmuir .... 9 0 Clan Ronald . 9 12 Travelling Ruling King . 9 8 Agent ... 9 0 Master Musk , 9 7 The Sun ... 9 0 L'Allegro ... 9 5 Record Flight has schooled and galloped well since arriving at Ellerslie and he should be capable of improving upon his promising performance at recent _ country meetings. Whistling Rufus is an improver likely to give a good account of himself. Clan Ronald is a reliable fencer who should piake a forward showing and slight improvement in his jumping should give Master Musk an excellent chance. Other possibilities arc Ruling King, L'Allegro and Volition. The main fancies may include

RECORD FLIGHT, MASTER MUSK. WHISTLING RUFUS.

2.17 H. O. NOLAN HANDICAP, Of £650; IS miles st. lb. at. lb Red Manfred . 9 8 Korokio .... 7 8 Killowyn ... 9 7 Monanui .... 7 7 Gay Marigold 9 3 Kelly ..... 7 7 Gay Broncy . 7 12 Caliento .... 7 6 Knight of Sir Abb ... 7 8 Australia . . 7 11 Gay Rose ...70 King Musk . . 7 10 Tybalt 7 0 Mungatoon ..79 '

The topwoights Red Manfred. Kiltowyn and Gay Marigold aro all fine performers who should run good races. In his present form the preference at the weights may be for Red Manfred. .Gay Broney made a very creditable showing in the Eav.tor Handicap. He and Knight of Australia were second and third respectively to Master Brierly Inst year and m view of their forward running they again appear likely to show up. King Musk should do better here than in the Easter Handicap. in which he. failed to do aB well as expected. Kelly and Sir Abb are likely light-weights and Caliente is another. This trio have other engagements, but they should go well if started here. Gay Rose and Monanui aro others who should not . bo without prospects. It should be a good betting race and some who may bo in demand aro SIR ABB. GAY BRONEY, KING MUSK. 2.S2—AUTUMN STEEPLECHASE. Of £350; about 3 miles si. lb. at. lb. Valpeen . . . H 12 Mia Stella ..96 Billy Boy . . 10 13 Slump 9 0 Ruby Meteor . 9 6 The topwoight Valpeen has some fine performances to his credit. He appears to have done ft lot of work and, as ho schooled well the other morning, his prospects are bright. Billy Boy is a most reliable jumper who should go well. Ruby Meteor and Mia Stella ran very moderately on Saturday and will require to do better to score. Slump has no recent form of noto, although ho is a safo fencer. Some who may find favour are VALPEEN. BILLY BOY. 3.32—GREAT NORTHERN ST. LEGER STAKES, Of £450; three-year-olds; colt 3 nnd goldings 8.10, fillies 8.8; 1| miles st. lb. st. lb. Sporting Blood 8 10 Sir Abb ... 8 10 Keith Lu ... 8 10 Gay Blonde . 8 8 Kelly .... 810 Sirona ...,88 Nun Nicer . . 8 10

Gay Blonde has the best credentials, but she has yet to tackle a mile and threequarters. However, the pace will probably bo slow early and in that caao her brilliancy should be of great assistance at the end. Sporting Blood run a creditable race on Saturday and should bo difficult to beat, especially if the track is soft. Kelly nnd Sir Abb are also engaged in the Autumn Handicap, but they are two improvers who should not be disgraced if started. Most support may bo extended to GAY BLONDE, SPORTING BLOOD.

4.I7—HUIA HANDICAP, Of £-150; 6 fur. st. lb. at. lb. Diatomous . . 8 11 Coronis .... 7 8 Greek Gold ..85 Grand Sport. 7 7 Gay Seton . . 7 13 Scotland ... 7 5 Gipsy Moth . . 7 11 Star Artiat . . 7 '5 Veraant ... 7 10 Namakia .... 7 0 Mother Tradesman ..70 Superior ..79 Coronilla ... 7 0 Brit. Columbia 7 8 Luck in the draw for post positions may bo an important factor in this field of brilliant beginners. Gay Solon's effort on Saturday suggests an excellent chalice for him and he should be very dniigorous. Star Artiat, Gipsy Moth, Versant, Coronis. Mother Superior. Grand Sport. Scotland and Tradesman must all possess chances, and a soft track would enhance the prospects of Gipsy Moth, Versant, Mother Superior a.nd Grand Sport. Greek Gold is another who would appreciate such a condition. It is an open race and in a good pool some who may be in demand aro GAY SETON. BRITISH COLUMBIA. VERSANT. S.2—ISLINGTON HANDICAP, Of £350; 1 mile ■/ st. lb. st. lb. Impasto ... 8 13 Namakia .... 8 5 Korokio .... 8 II Gay Lap ... 8 0 Caliunto .... 811 Kiwi's Archer 8 0 Imnmint .... 8 !) Psychologist . 8 0 Sinking Fund 8 9 Royal Artist . 8 0 Del rain .... 88 The class should suit Impasto and ho should take a lot of beating. Korokio did not go as well as anticipated on the first day, but Caliente made a fino showing in the Easter Handicap. Caliente has another engagement, but if reserved she will bo extremely dangerous if she repeats Saturday's effort. Imamint is a recent winner and an easing of the ground will not be to her disadvantage. Sinking Fund should be capable of a good performance and Namakia should not be out of it if started here in preference to a previous engagement. King's Archer and Gay Lap are possibilities and Dclrain may have bene, fited by his race on Saturday. The favourites map be IMPASTO. IMAMINT. SINKING FUND.
