TOURNEY AT ST. ANDREWS QUALIFYING ROUND RESULTS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday The Waiknto Easter golf tournament was commenced at St. Andrews links yesterday under good weather conditions. A large number of country clubs was represented, 58 players taking part iii the qualifying rounds for match play. The following 16 players qualified for the championship:— •A. G. The players defeated in the first round of the championship will form a special group. The winner of the trophy for the best gross score was A. G. Cradwick (Hamilton), P. G. Russell (Hamilton) being second. These players were also first and second in the modal handicap over 30 holes. WAIUKU CLUB [from our own correspondent] WAIUKU, Saturday A medal round played by members of the Waiuku Golf Club to-day was won by A. Buttimore with a curd of 91, 20—71. Other good cards were:—lT.
